Letizia Romanini

Letizia Romanini is a visual artist from Luxembourg, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts, then in 2009 from the College of Decorative Arts, objects and soft materials option, directed by Edith Dekyndt in Strasbourg(F). Driven by a desire for transmission and collaborative creation, she completed her formation in 2018 with the CFPI – Formation Center for Visual Artists –  at HEAR (Rhin College of Arts, Strasbourg). In 2021, she won the 1% artistic award at the Centre de Logopédie, Strassen (L), the same year she entered the collection of the Luxembourg Ministry of Culture with her diptych Drop by Drop (mirror ink silkscreen on glass, 2018).

In a constant dialogue between representation and its relationship to materials, Letizia Romanini creates an ecosystem of sculptural objects using artisanal techniques combined with photographic prints. The artist sees her work as a quest to create documents of experience, archives and moments that she shares with the people she meets. A common space emerges through associations of forms and materials, creating multi-layered images where touch, light and fragility challenge our vision of reality.
