Doris Becker, born in Luxembourg, lives and works in Fischbach (LU).She pursued studies in several schools and academies in Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany, followed by specialized courses. Since 2006, she regularly participates in international exhibitions, competitions and international symposiums. Her work has received several awards, is integrated into various collections and is the subject of publications.
The theme of her current work: "Origins" ... the egg, present in various mythologies and considered as the source of the universe ... symbol of creation, productivity, reproduction, birth and new life. Chiseled ornaments, worked with needle or formed in the material, are added as decorative elements, which come to embellish the works, but also speak of history, culture, traditions and beauty.
