Martin Dieterle

Martin Dieterle born 1966, studied in Germany and the USA. Lives and works as an interior architect and designer in Luxembourg since 1997. Co-founder of the interior architecture and design office CARREROUGE in Luxembourg.  As an interior architect and designer, Martin Dieterle designs interiors, furniture and design objects. The perception of everyday objects in public space as well as in private areas, is a topic that has occupied him for a long time. The subject of "found item" plays a role in many of his works.

The Transbottle project seeks to re-assign a value to plastic containers that have become useless. Plastic is a material that is generally viewed as cheap and poor. Due to its material properties, plastic can be cut and thermally deformed and with light it is translucent to opaque. The luminous objects are small sculptures that, in connection with light, assign a new aesthetic and function to supposedly useless everyday objects.
