The Ateliers Kräizbierg s.c. are a sheltered workshop located in Dudelange that progressively developed 10 different types of activities (workshops) and propose today to 111 persons in an handicap situation a paid employment.
We employ persons principally with a physical handicap, and offer them a professional live as close as possible to the normal work market. Our professionals determine the skill and needs of each person, his abilities and limits, in order to reinforce some and bypass others.
We promote therefore the social and professional insertion and, at the same time, are a business with multiple resources proposing a large range of products to sale.
The work presented at the exhibition is the fruit of a collaborative work of persons employed in the workshop on creation and pottery. The City of Luxembourg is dived into a cloud in which unwind the creatures “Litti” before breathing again to re-exploit the world. The figurine “Litti”, a Luxemburgish term designing scatterbrain persons, are unique pieces in ceramics. Their heads are modelled individually by hand in plastic clay.
