Gonthier Lise

Lise Gonthier was born in France in 1981. She has been drawing and painting since she was a child therefore she naturally chose to study Applied Arts and ceramics and then painting at Beaux-Arts for 3 years. A visit to a glass blowing workshop fascinated her. Light, transparency, the physical aspect, the direct encounter with the material glass led her to Cerfav (European center for research and training in the glass arts) specializing in blowing. After several internships in France and abroad, she opened her workshop in the South of France in 2008. She has been working since 2014 in collaboration with architects and decorators. She is represented in several French and international galleries.
