Langehegermann Nico

Nico Langehegermann was born on 24 May 1946 in Luxembourg. His childhood was spent in Limpertsberg and Bridel, where his father ran a modest painting business. From an early age, he was fascinated by drawing and colours. From 1960 to 1963, he attended the Lycée des Arts et Métiers. As the only student enrolled in the training course for letter painters, he had the privilege of being taught by formidable artistteachers. In 1971, Nico created a company specialised in design, advertising lettering, restoration and polychroming of furniture, gilding, etc. He created many decorations and gildings, which can still be seen today in some monuments and churches. Since 2007, after his son took over the company, he has been devoting himself to his passion, artistic painting, and has held his first solo exhibition at the Fred Becker Gallery in Limpertsberg
