Milheiro Janaïna

A unique and contemporary approach to featherwork. In her Parisian workshop, Janaïna Milheiro creates and produces pieces in bird feathers for the luxury sector: fashion and decoration. Since 2011, surrounded by craftsmen and designers, she has been developing her own know-how to offer a personal and innovative vision of bird feathers. An experimental and technical approach to make people dream and marvel. Trained in artisanal and industrial textile techniques, she proposes, for haute couture shows, improbable feather laces, silk fabrics woven from feathers, feather wings, but also three-dimensional networks and real feather sculptures... Born in 1985 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, of French nationality, Janaïna Milheiro is a graduate of the textile design department of ENSCI - Les Ateliers (Paris, 2010), of ESAA Duperré in embroidery (Paris, 2007), laureate of the Grands Prix de la création de Paris (2015).
