Potsch Martin

The starting point for Martin Potsch's glass work - a communications manager in his first life - is a deep enthusiasm for the material. After a workshop at the specialised glass school in Zwiesel, Martin started to implement his first projects in 2014, together with the school's glass blowers. His expressive, painterly perspective is characterised by containers of simple, clean forms. "I understand the transparent glass surface as a canvas and a playing surface," explains Martin Potsch. His aim is to gain an ever deeper understanding of the material's possibilities. All his works are unique, aesthetic and unusual pieces with avant-garde shapes and patterns.
