Zerrouk Didac

Born on March 16th 1994 in Luxembourg City, Didac Zerrouk is a young luthier who’s workshop is based in Biwisch and has a shop in Clervaux (both in the North of Luxembourg) and specialized in stringed instruments. During his studies at the IFAPME (Limal-BELGIUM) he did multiple interships at music shops and luthier workshop all around Belgium and went to teach guitarmaking and repairs in Tetouan (MORROCCO) twice for the association MusicFund. That’s also when he practiced at one of his main masters’ workshop (Renzo Salvador – Liège BELGIUM) who changed his entire view on the craft : « Lutherie is the act of creating a musical object that stricly responds to a musician’s needs where the craftsman puts all his knowledge in as well as a little creative touch so as to bring to life all of the musician’s dreams ». Having the desire to create unique and stricking instrument, he opens his first workshop in Clervaux in 2018 after finishing his studies. Since then he works with passion to create truely unique and exceptional instruments that push the boundaries of his craft as well as the materials he uses, combining tradition and modernity having as only purpose to induce feelings and emotions to those who cross the instrument’s path.
