This is where Fiat Lux will come to life.
In the heart of Venice, in the Dorsoduro district and opposite the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, Casa Sanlorenzo will host De Mains De Maîtres Luxembourg’s Fiat Lux exhibition from 1 to 30 September 2026, as part of Homo Faber in Città.
Housed in a residence dating from the 1940s, Casa Sanlorenzo was restored by architect Piero Lissoni and Lissoni & Partners. The project preserves the building’s original identity while introducing a distinctly contemporary architectural language: refined spaces, glass, steel and plays on transparency create an environment designed to welcome and showcase artistic creation.
Inaugurated in 2025, Casa Sanlorenzo was conceived as a place for research, experimentation and dialogue between art, design and culture. With its exhibition spaces and garden, it has become a new presence on Venice’s cultural scene.
It is within this distinctive setting that the creations of the 27 artists and master artisans brought together for Fiat Lux will take their place this September. Architecture, materials and light will resonate with the works in a scenography conceived as a contemporary cabinet of curiosities.
