Fiat Lux: an exceptional opening evening in Venice

On 10 September 2026, De Mains De Maîtres Luxembourg welcomed artists, partners and guests to Casa Sanlorenzo in Venice for the opening of Fiat Lux, presented as part of Homo Faber in Città.
The evening, marked by the presence of Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie, was one of the highlights of the programme celebrating the 10th anniversary of De Mains De Maîtres Luxembourg.
Bringing together more than sixty works by twenty-seven creators, Fiat Lux explores light as a material, a language and a source of inspiration. Conceived as a contemporary cabinet of curiosities, the exhibition creates a dialogue between craftsmanship, materials and artistic practices through a scenography designed by Jean-Marc Dimanche.
The opening was also an opportunity to thank the artists and all the partners who support De Mains De Maîtres Luxembourg in its development and international outreach.
Fiat Lux can be discovered at Casa Sanlorenzo until 30 September 2026.
