Announcing the 3rd edition of the De Mains De Maîtres Biennale, “Viv(r)e la matière”, taking place from 20 to 28 November, around ten Luxembourgish craftspeople and designers are taking over the reception rooms and garden of the residence of the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to France, inviting visitors to discover a selection of their most recent works.
A journey through materials unfolds along a unique route featuring metal, wood, glass, textiles, felt and ceramics, while also offering the opportunity to discover this magnificent 19th-century residence, a reception venue that is very rarely open to the public.
A wonderful way to celebrate the Grand Duchy’s fine craftsmanship on its own Parisian territory.
Inaugurated to coincide with the opening of Art Paris at the nearby Grand Palais Éphémère, this event, conceived in an original format, will only be accessible to the public through private visits. It will continue until the beginning of winter, coinciding with the European Heritage Days on 18 and 19 September and the Foreign Cultures Week on 26 September, before concluding with the new Ex Paris fair, which will hold its first edition at the Grand Palais Éphémère on 27 November.
