Biography

Romy Collé, a Luxembourg-based gold-smith born in 1987, graduated as a jewellery designer from the prestigious Goldschmiedeschule in Pforzheim and has been a master goldsmith since 2014, having obtained her diploma from the Meisterschule für das Gold- und Silber- schmiedehandwerk in Munich. Having worked independently since 2016, she designs refined jewellery in her workshop, inspired by her observations of nature and made exclusively from recycled precious metals. For Nature singulière, she has created a series of pieces evoking the northern lights. These celestial lights, with their changing reflections, are echoed in the sparkle of the stones she selects: labradorite, moonstone, tourmaline, and pearls. The ‘shuttle’ shape, repeated and arranged in various ways, evokes a leaf, a flower, a beetle, or a butterfly. The moving elements of her earrings reflect the undulating movement of the aurora borealis. Each piece of jewellery is unique, becoming a source of wonder, a hymn to natural beauty, and an elegant anchor to life, combining geometric precision with organic poetry. Her technical mastery and sensitivity have been proven and reaffirmed since her exhibition at De Mains De Maîtres in 2016.
