Where and when will the next edition of the Biennale take place?
The next edition will take place at 19 Liberté in Luxembourg in November 2027.

How much time should I allow for my visit?
We recommend allowing approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to explore the exhibition comfortably.
The duration of your visit may vary depending on how busy the exhibition is, your own pace and the amount of time you wish to spend discovering the works, reading the exhibition texts or taking part in any mediation activities offered on site.
How can I get tickets?
Admission is free of charge.
No advance booking or ticket is required to visit the exhibition during public opening hours.
How can I book a guided tour?
Information about guided tours will be published during 2027.
Booking arrangements, tour times and meeting points will be announced at a later date.
Guided tours may be offered according to a set schedule, with advance registration where required.
Can groups visit the Biennale?
Yes, groups may visit the Biennale during public opening hours. Depending on the size of the group, we recommend contacting the De Mains De Maîtres team in advance so that we can facilitate your welcome and ensure smooth circulation through the exhibition spaces.
Do you offer visits for schools or students?
Specific information regarding school visits, student groups and mediation activities will be published during 2027.
A dedicated student day may also be organised, depending on the programme for this edition
Where can I purchase the exhibition catalogue?
The exhibition catalogue will be available during the Biennale, in accordance with the arrangements communicated at the reception desk and on our website.
Information regarding the price, points of sale and any ordering options will be provided closer to the opening date.
Will a catalogue or list of works be available online?
The list of exhibitors and selected information about the works on display may be available on the De Mains De Maîtres website before or during the Biennale.
Can I take photographs during my visit?
Photography is permitted unless otherwise indicated on site. The use of flash may be restricted in order to protect the works.
Visitors taking photographs must respect the works, other visitors and any instructions displayed within the exhibition spaces. For all professional photography requests, please contact the De Mains De Maîtres team in advance.
Can I film during my visit?
Videos made for personal use are generally permitted unless otherwise indicated on site.
Professional filming, interviews, reports or recordings intended for public distribution require prior authorisation from the association.
Is it possible to purchase a work during the Biennale and take it home immediately?
Some works may be available for acquisition. Interested visitors are invited to speak to a member of the De Mains De Maîtres team on site.
Works may not be collected before the end of the exhibition.
Where possible, the team will forward acquisition enquiries to the relevant artists or representatives.
Where can I find the list of exhibitors?
The list of participating artists and craftspeople will be published on the De Mains De Maîtres website before the Biennale opens.
It may also be shared through our newsletter, social media channels and other event communication materials.
Will the exhibiting artists and craftspeople be present?
The presence of participating artists and craftspeople will vary depending on the day, the programme and the Biennale’s key events. Meet-and-greets, demonstrations and other special events will be announced in the official programme.
Access and Visitor Comfort
Is the Biennale accessible to visitors with reduced mobility?
Yes. The Biennale can be accessed through the entrance on Boulevard de la Pétrusse.

Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, the Biennale has a free cloakroom.
Are food and drink available on site?
There is no café or restaurant inside the exhibition venue.
Eating and drinking are not permitted within the exhibition spaces in order to protect the works. However, several cafés, restaurants and bakeries can be found near 19 Liberté.
Are there toilets on site?
Yes, toilets are available on site during opening hours.
What should I do if I lose something?
If you lose or leave an item behind during your visit, please speak to a member of staff at the Biennale reception desk or contact the De Mains De Maîtres team through the Contact page on our website.
Family Visits and Specific Audiences
Can I bring children to the Biennale?
Yes, children are welcome at the Biennale. However, accompanying adults are asked to remain attentive, as some of the works may be fragile.
Can I bring a pushchair?
Yes, pushchairs are permitted, subject to circulation conditions within the exhibition spaces.
Can I bring a pet?
To protect the works and ensure a comfortable experience for all visitors, pets are not permitted, with the exception of guide dogs and assistance dogs.
Is the Biennale suitable for visitors who are unfamiliar with contemporary craft?
The Biennale is open to everyone, including enthusiasts, curious visitors, professionals and those discovering contemporary craft for the first time.
Exhibition texts, interpretation materials and any guided tours available will help visitors gain a better understanding of the exhibitors’ skills, materials and creative approaches.
