Lohritz Eliane

Eliane Lothritz, born in Luxembourg in 1962, lives in Bofferdange. Mother of 4 children, she used to work as a medical secretary. Following a disability, she turns to old books and discovers folding. A new source of satisfaction and a real passion awakens. Since then, Eliane has been able to fold names, logos and even portraits from books to create real works of art. When the book in her possession is damaged to the point of being unable to be folded, she cuts it out and shapes pictures with strips and extracts of paper. Since 4 years, Eliane participates in “Walfer Bicherdeeg”. She also exhibits on various art markets such as Bourglinster, or Art-Linster. Her works can be found in various Luxembourg galleries (Walferdange Gallery, Galerie A.Rousen in Pétange, Galerie chez Steinhäuser, etc.) Being president of the association Hobbykenschtler Letzebuerg a.s.b.l, she also participates in the markets organized by their care.
