Lopes Santos Jennifer

Jennifer Lopes Santos, born in Luxembourg in 1987, began her artistic career at the Beaux-Arts du Lycée des Arts et Métiers and then trained in fashion design at the Haute École Libre Mosane in Liège. There she developed a strong interest in recycling and for the environment, which she translated through her creation “Sweet Pollution” at the exhibition “The future that never was” at the Modemuseum in Hasselt in 2011. After a long journey of experimentation, Jennifer exploits different disciplines such as dance where movement and presence in space propel her towards the questioning of Being and Becoming, the main themes of her first solo exhibition “Stretch, Twist, Push and Pull” at the Kulturhaus in Niederanven in 2016. Today, Jennifer decides to mix the techniques she has acquired and chooses artistic expression according to what she has absorbed and wishes to translate into her works. Her universe is conceptual and eclectic, and is part of the search for the human being, his body, his moods and his relationship with the outside world.
