Karin Luteijn, originally from the Netherlands and now based in Luxembourg, is a ceramic artist and the founder of the KeramiK’Art workshop. Trained at the Lycée des Arts et Métiers, she refined her skills in Belgium, Germany, France, and her home country. Since 2010, her passion for porcelain has shaped an artistic approach rooted in the close observation of nature—particularly edible nature. For Nature singulière, she presents a series of fruit and vegetable mille- feuilles, capturing their simple and fleeting beauty in coloured porcelain. By enlarging and ennobling these natural forms, she invites us to take a renewed look at what we consume. Her technique combines porcelain, stoneware, and cellulose, coloured with pigments to create pieces that are both sensual and robust. Each sculpture becomes a celebration of nourishing matter— featuring lush baskets of green apples, raspberries, and artichokes. Through her meticulous, naturalistic work, Karin Luteijn transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary—reminding us that nature, in its humblest forms, holds a quiet, essential poetry.
