Raus-Goeres Josiane

Josiane Raus-Goeres, born in 1967 in Luxembourg, discovers her fascination for glass in 1988. After experimenting different ways of working with glass, she specialises in melting glass and thermoforming, and perfects her technique in different artist workshops in Luxembourg and Germany. She regularly participates to exhibitions in France, Germany and Luxembourg and has a permanent exhibition in Kinheim, Germany. Awarded the fourth place in the “Succes Story” show from RTL-Television for her project of artistic back kitchen plan in melting glass, she drives her experimentations always forward. Fascinated by colours, transparency, the light of the glass, she produces in her workshop in Aspelt fascinating and astonishing creatures that combine today glass with a wide variety of materials.
