Sabbatini Bettina

Bettina Sabbatini Scholl lives and works in Luxembourg. After studying art in Florence and Paris, her sculptures are presented nationally and internationally, in galleries or public spaces, including his famous monumental chairs. Her works are now part of the collections of the Museum of Art and History and the Villa Vauban Museum in Luxembourg, the BCEE Chamber of Trades, etc. Fascinated by all that is myth, the artist dives into African culture by realizing figures and totems. A mastery of the demanding material, often lost-wax bronze, patina of colors, she joins her exuberant humor: mischievous little geniuses emerge from seashells and marine animals (Biennale of Venice 2010). It frees Melusina from its legendary straitjacket, It is a dreamlike creature that rises in the air, is a dragonfly, supermodel, ballerina, is voluptuous, playful or capricious. Recently, his owls-symbols “night pharmacies” came to populate this magical cosmos and joined the happy round of spirits.
