Sandy Kahlich

Sandy Kahlich, born in 1982 in Germany, lives and works in Luxembourg since 2004. At the end of her professional training in Bavaria, during a three hour test in a fashion studio during her last year of school, she knew it would be the job of her dreams. She spent another year in her apprenticeship to improve her mastery of the subject before moving to Vienna. Since arriving in Luxembourg, she works at Modes Nita. In September 2018, Sandy celebrated her twentieth birthday as a milliner.

In her job, Sandy appreciates the diversity of tasks and techniques as well as the richness of materials. From felt, straw, fabrics, leather to feathers and cashmere, she makes hats, caps, headdresses and more. Each piece becomes a unique piece. She lives and loves her craft made of traditions and know-how while making new discoveries every day.
